Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described below, users and data subjects have the right to:

confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, access to that data, and copies thereof (Art. 15 GDPR);
rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR);
immediate deletion of their data (Art. 17 GDPR) or restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
receive their data and have it transferred to another provider (Art. 20 GDPR);
lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, users and data subjects have the right to object to future processing of their data under Art. 21 GDPR, in particular against processing for direct marketing purposes.

Your data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Cookies

We use session cookies to provide a user-friendly website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. You may prevent cookie installation via your browser settings, though this may limit the functionality of our website.

Contact requests

If you contact us via the contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse website usage. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We use IP anonymisation. A browser opt-out add-on is available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited) to display typefaces. When you visit our website, a connection to Google's servers is established. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Further information at policies.google.com/privacy.

Newsletter / MailChimp

We use MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, Atlanta, USA) for newsletter distribution. Upon registration, your email address and optionally your name and address, as well as your IP address and registration timestamp, are stored. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
